Default Red pill or Blu Pill?

If you were given the choice of seeing the real world, or staying here, what would you choose?

I would stay here. I would miss my dog, my friends, and most of all my family. Even if they are not "real" I still feel good being around them, so what is the difference?

At this point in my life, I dont think I would even have to think twice.

You?

Real world. Even in the fake world you'd feel pain and suffering. Better do that for real.

Like the OP, I'd hang around. I've got a wonderful life here. As smartly stated by Cypher, amongst many others, "Ignorance is bliss."

In all honesty though, the answer to this question could be much, much deeper...

Depends. Do I get to fly and know Kung-Fu in the Matrix? If so I'd stay. Hard to compete with bending your reality.

I heard this odd song on the radio many years back. It used sound clips from The Matrix, specifically Morpheus talking about the pills.

I'm not sure about red and blue, but I take orange and/or green pills to purge cold symptoms.

That is if your statement is taken as a postulate. In which case I think I'd choose to go and see the real world. My natural curiosity to the big mysteries out there and no real attachments here would be key to my decision I guess

depends on how beautiful that lie was. let me ask another question that pertains to this thread sort of:

would it be better to know the truth?

or would it better not to know?

for example, what if aliens did exist and the government knew about it (forgive me but i just got the x-files box set so my mind is a tad preoccupied). and even more, the government was just using us as guinea pigs in hopes of saving their own asses. to complicate matters the government knows of when said aliens will take over and when we will cease to exist. would you really want to know? or better yet, what if you have the option of knowing when you will die? what would you choose? knowing or not knowing? it's all very tricky because sometimes the truth can cause more damage than not knowing anything at all. look what happened to adam and eve.

The lie can be beautiful and a lot of people will Rather go for thE lie than seek the truth even if the truth is just there for them to find and requires just a bit of good sense. But a Lie will always be a lIe only the masses don't care as it sometimes is more simple to believe in a beautiful Great lIe than think issues through in an hOnest search of truth. DoN't you see what I mean ?

[Show spoiler]Can you see the greatest lie of all ?

Red pill or blue pill? Depends on how deep the rabbit hole goes.
