Need suggestions for surround sound system - Blu-ray Forum

I really enjoy watching Blu-rays, but one thing I've never invested in (so far) is a surround system and it's about time I took the step.

My current setup is:
- Panasonic 42" 1080p TV (integrated stereo speakers)
- Playstation 3 connnected with HDMI cable to the TV
- current media room size = 4x5 meters (will move to bigger room lateron)

I'm looking for a decent yet affordable surround system to experience the blu-rays as they should; especially the lossless track. I'm looking for speakers that aren't too big, as the media room isn't very large, but can still pump out good sound. Lateron, the entire setup will be moved to a bigger room once we buy our house, but that might not be for a few years.

Any suggestions?

well for a budget I got a set of polk monitors and a sony sub for 480.00 and I bought a Yamaha V663 for 370.00. Pretty decent for under $900.00. Left room for more blu-rays and of course monoprice cables and wire.

I was thinking of spending some 250 euro tops.
