Default Starwars DVD Ep 1,2,3 Sound output Question

Hey all!

I am new to this forum and must admit that I am enjoying what I see.

My question is when I play a DVD through my PS3 it gives different outputs on my Denon Reciever.

When the THX advertisement is coming on the screen I see Dolby EX on the Denon. When the movie itself plays I see Dolby Digital + PL: C or something similar to that.

It seems to me that the Dolby EX sounds better so I want to know if I am doing something wrong. In the options menu I am selecting Dolby Digital 5.1 EX.

On a side note if I watch "The Incredibles" then it shows DD EX the whole time.
