Xena, the Invaders, Andromeda on Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I think there's not that much TV series out now on Blu-ray, and all are current ones, I'd like to find Xena warrior princess, Andromeda or older ones like the Invaders, Happy days, Baa Baa black sheep
also some anme series would be fine : Evangelion, Utena, Escaflowne.
Any news of these being released?

Yes there are soooo many tv shows i'd like on Blu - here's just a few on my list:

Every Star Trek series
Battlestar Galactica
Bones
Desperate Housewives
House MD
Medium
and the list goes on, and on, and on, and on!!

Does anyone know is Xena was shot on film or VHS? Any rumors of HD scans?

Seasons 1 and 2 were shot on 16mm, seasons 3 thru 6 were shot on 35mm.

Like most series filmed in the ‘90s it was edited on SD video, with effects rendered in SD.

So to rebuild it in HD is completely possible, with the cost of rebuilding shows coming down every year. No rumors or news of that yet, though.
