Does anyone know if movies like Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Matrix Trilogy, Jason Bourne Trilogy, Spy Game, and the Fast and the Furious Trilogy are coming out sometime this year? Or even next year?
How about Black Hawk Down 100% action
or let me suggest: Troy or Patriot
If you need some more let me know.

LOL. That movie just cracks me up. He plays a bloody terrorist that actually wreaks huge environmental damage, but somehow gets away with it scott-free and at the end makes some BS speech about the environment.

And there needs to be a price-point that is affordable when compared to DVD. I am not going to pay triple for a movie that I can get on DVD which I have already seen (that's what Blockbuster is for). However, new movies like "I am Legend" I have paid for, and I am alway on the look-out for action movies that are worth the effort to purchase along with its high price tag.
I think that considering what you getting with Blu-Ray; improved PQ and AQ; over DVD, BD's are comparably priced and worth the extra cash. I don't see the price going down anytime soon since it hasn't been widely excepted as it should be. One thing I think that studios who support Blu-Ray can do is start offering title's that are exclusive to BD as opposed to releasing on both formats or add extra content such as extended versions and special features that are exclusive to the BD release. This is how DVD slowly pushed VHS out of the picture and I think this would help bring the format forward a lot quicker.

Actually, what was worse was him being talked about in the movie as if he was some Godlike character. And yes, I imagine him laying waste to an oil platform wasn't a good thing at all for the environment. But it sure looked cool.

The Rambo movies were well done IMO. Commando, Out for Justice and Predator were kinda so-so. AVP was a decent transfer (it was actually a shade lighter than the DVD version) but the movie was real bad.

I was pretty impressed with the PQ of First Blood considering how old it is.

Though i'm sure you were joking, I actually can't wait for ON DEADLY GROUND to come to BD. Yes, it's heavy handed and preachy, yet it contains some really good action and some of Seagal's best fights.

I'm ready for it!
