Default Making a list for Sony to see

In the past, we have always bugged Sony for giving us new options, features, and services. It is better to start a list here or go to sony's offical website as us.playstation.com? I read a rumor a while ago about the next ps3 update and it seemed that the only new thing that you get is the option to take screenshots, just like for brawl on wii, but on Sony's end this time. There are things that are missing on the ps3 that I would like to see added to the machine in a future update.

i had a really crazy thought yesterday. why doesn't sony set up a ps3 e-mail service. that way people could send messages from pc and macs straight to your media hub (PS3), that would be nice for me. i don't know how well it would go over though.

1. Fix the bugs regarding Remote Play not always working.

2. Home

3. In-Game music option from the XMB which will supercede the current game's sound.

4. Fix the bugs regarding the web browser and Folding@Home crashing. (I somehow get it to crash 1/5 times)

5. Voice chat across games.

6. Capture in-game video.

I'll probably come up with more later.

Home, of course, but I'd also like to see a sleep timer added. I've got two PS3's and one of them is primarily a blu-ray player in the bedroom. I like to watch movies as I'm falling asleep, but I don't do it with Blu-rays because I don't want the PS3 running all night.

I thought they put that in the last update

EDIT: is it not the same as this?:

Quote:

-content that is saved on the hard disk or storage media.
You can now play upscaled video content that is saved on the hard disk or storage media. When the video content is played, it is upscaled automatically to match the screen size.

I don't know if it is, because last week I watched all of the Sarah Conner Chronicles and some of the extras on Blu, and the extras were 480p.

Is that a setting that needs to be turned on or is it automatically done for all video?

i dont really know seeing as i never tried to use it yet, but if you hit triangle to bring up the menu(while playing the extras) and the go to AV settings icon, it should be an option to upscale.

A2DP. I don't always want to play the sound of movies or games through my stereo speakers - quiet time at the house. I don't undetstand why a $20 cell phone can send A2DP stereo audio to Bluetooth headphones, but the PS3 cannot. I know a A2DP transmitter can be connected to my receiver, but why run another device and several hundred watts of receiver power to simply send the signal to headphones that run on battery?

^^^^ Actually this would be neat to have. It would be yet another reason for me to get a BT stereo headset.
VVVVV This too! This is very irritating!

Yeah, I mean when I have to check the time and all, but I just don't want it to obscure the clock.

What is the name of the thread? Is it the thread that lists the latest update? right now, it would be 2.42.

Does Sony read the long thread and note what we want or does someone here have to tell Sony to add these things such as.............?
