I heard that the blu-ray movie differs where some sucked while some are better?

How do I check?

whats PQ??

PQ= Picture Quality
AQ= Audio Quality
Rip off= Monster

Just like with dvds, not all movies look the same on Blu-ray. Something like I, Robot or Man On Fire is going to look a lot better than Basic Instinct or Terminator on Blu-ray.

Just FYI, take that link as a guideline, not as gospel. There are a lot of disagreements with what is "good" or not. It's a good starting place, however.

Like DVD, the PQ does vary, so I am careful to CK the revews before I buy. Most of my blu-rays are OK. The only time I had any PQ issues was with single layer BD25 using MPEG2. So what's with Warner and their BD25 Speed Racer with it's near DVD quality audio? Double dip anyone.
