Poster Frames

Just thought I'd post this as I was reading a post on here a few weeks ago about somebody looking for cheap frames in Canada.

Michael's is having a 50% off deal right now so it's a great time to buy from them. I just picked up 3 real nice poster frames for $19.95 a piece. Generally they'd sell for $40 a piece. Anyways just a heads up.

In the U.S. you can also check the Sunday paper for 50% off frames at Hobby Lobby (one week will be for pre-fab frames and the next week will be custome frames, they alternate at least once a month I think). The frames usually cost a little more, but are good quality and look great!

I bought a couple of poster frames from Michael's and returned them. They gave me store credit because more than a month had passed. I found that the frames were too heavy. The wire that I used to hang them snapped. Also, shavings fell off from the plastic frame. That was very annoying.

I actually prefer the frames that I got from Wal*Mart. The quality isn't the best, but I'm happy with them. Unfortunately, for some reason, not all Wal*Mart stores carry 27"x40" poster frames. I got mine from the Wal*Mart in the Kanata Centrum.

I agree. Michael's is great for poster frames. My girlfriend and I searched for a few weeks for some afordable frames and we stumbled into Michael's. This was about 8 months ago and they had the same sale going on; 50% off. We got two $80 frames for $40 a piece.
