I'm kind of a NOOB and do not fully understand "HDMI CEC". Can someone please explain??? Thanks

HDMI stands for High Definition Media Interactive but I never heard of CEC.

I have this on my LCD. I can control other devices via the HDMI connections. I haven't messed with it to much yet but It seems like a cool feature.
