Default The Omen Collection - Fox - will it be region coded?

Probably a dumb question but it doesn't hurt to ask...

I think there was only one all-regions title from Fox so far (but i forgot which one, wasn't a high profile title). Guess they'll keep them locked.

Cheers

Although the US and UK are almost priced equal, the US release includes the remake of THE OMEN. But I don't want that one.....not even for free. Just doesn't make sense to put it with the trilogy.

It could be region free, I sure hope it is. That would be cool.

i'm glad theu.k omen collection doesnt have that crappy 2006 remake attached to it..i was..if i was living in the u.s i would be hacked off paying for that to be included as well. everything about the remake was just so poor..except the casting of pete poselthawaite as the priest.

Default Omen collection load problems!!!!

HI everyone, I'm hoping I'm not the only one with this problem so FOX can fix it real soon. It seems there's a loading problem with the original 3 Omen movies. They load fine up to the menu screen, you can make selections on the menu screen but when you go play the movie it shows it's loading and goes back to the menu again. However, the re-make plays fine ( that figures )I posted this on the review to warn others. It might work on other players but not on my PS3 which I also metioned on the review. If anyone else has had a problem, please reply. Thanks.

I watched both the original Omen and Omen II last night on my Sony S350 and did not have any problems....perhaps you have a bad disc? I would exchange it and see what happens.

I am extremely disappointed with the U.S. version of this release. The box set is sized for DVD and is composed of cheap, flimsy cardboard. The discs are barely secured by foam spindles and two discs were loose in the case when it was delivered. Thankfully, the discs didn't have any scratches. I am hoping the UK version is region free because I have no use for the remake and I believe the UK version will be housed in a keep case. I just put this set up for auction on Ebay today. I got it cheap through the Amazon 3 for 2 so I should make a couple of bucks on it.

Fox really botched this one.

Default I got Foxed!!!

I agree with ya AaronSCH, this was a crappy and cheap box set to say the least. I sent mine back to the great folks at Amazon who do care about the people they serve for a full refund. I also ordered these disc off Netflix ( The original Omen plus 2 and 3 ) and they also would not play on my PS3. I got a feeling fox won't fix this error because it would be to costly, who knows. All I can say is hey FOX, get your head out of you behind!!!

Is the PQ and AQ on the trilogy really as bad as the user reviews here on blu ray com suggest?? Or is it largely the opinions of 16 year olds?

Just re-watched this collection over the weekend, The PQ is pretty good to be honest, Just think a few folks expect everything to look like Avatar!!

For flicks from 1976,1978 & 1981 they look decent.
