Default Multiplayer that takes both formats..

What should I buy?
Is it better to have 1 player for each format?
Or can I buy a multiplayer with good intention?

Was thinking about this one, but someone told me that I sould wait untill it gets HDMI 1.3

There are lots of threads related to this topic.

The general consensus is to have individual players. The LG has very limited HD-DVD support, it can play, pause stop, chapter jump and that's about it. The DVD forum (HD-DVD) didn't even want the HD-DVD logo on the player.

I think most here would say go Blu-ray and wait. It will be interesting to see how many people here with both \ universal player still buy HD-DVD disc's.
