Default Layer changes on BDP-S350

So far I have been very pleased with my BDP-S350. However when playing standard dvd's it pauses between layer changes for movies longer than 90 minutes. It does not do this with blu ray movies. Anyone else having the same issue? Is there any way that I can resolve it? If so let me know.

A pause during transition to different layer is typical in "evey" DVD player. That's DVD's technical destiny you can never change. I'm glad blu-ray is such an advanced medium in every way including that issue.

I have to disagree with you. I have a Yamaha DVD C950 on another television and I do not have any issue as far as layer changes. I was wondering if this is common on all blu ray players that play standard dvd's longer than 90 minutes. I played Godzilla (standard dvd) on my Samsung BD-P1400 and I had the same issue. Played the same dvd on the Yamaha with no problem.

Most DVD (and BD) players will always have a slight pause during layer change when playing DVDs, it's just the way it is.
