Default New interview with Shuhei Yoshida

http://www.videogaming247.com/2008/0...us-and-europe/

Quote:
Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has said that Japanese developers are making “slow progress” compared to the West thanks to a generational shift in technology power to the US and Europe
Overall it's quite interesting, it gives good insight into the new structure at SCEWWS.

Seems like Yoshida-San is doing the business in Japan. Good news for all of us hopefully.

The fact that he is even discussing it means he recognises there is a problem. That is a very big step, especially at a company like SCE where everything has been very easy for them in the last two generations.

I think Yoshi, Tretton and Reeves have been doing a good job overall, Kaz hasn't really done much since he got the job, which is kind of disappointing.
