Does anyone know when Warner is going to release titles on BD that were previously released on hd dud? It'll be sweet as hell to get V for Vendetta and Batman Begins on the good side of "the force"...

They've actually already started with the release of Goodfellas in January and the upcoming Enter The Dragon and Dirty Dozen in April.

Mods: this ought to be an FAQ.

The only catch up that matters are the ones (like batman) that require the 2nd concurrent video stream.

It doesn't REQUIRE it. So far Warner has taken the odd position that they must deny people the content they want until they are able to insure they can deliver some secondary feature that people may not give a damn about.

Give me a BD bandwidth encoding over PiP any day.

Yeah all that waiting for a feature I don't really care about, while they could have encoded the films with a feature I DO want: Greater Picture Quality and Lossless Audio on high bitrate 50GB BD
