Default Fox uk ?!!

What is it with FOX titles. Do they hate the Region B market. Fair enough if they want to do the region coding thing (although for old catalogue titles, what's the point!!) but they could at least then release the stuff on Region B.
We still haven't got POINT BREAK. There's no sign of DAREDEVIL and my heart now sinks when I read that they're the ones puting out the old DAY THE EART STOOD STILL disc. Come on Fox shape up!!

Thanks for that. I'd checked a while back but hadn't found it. Unfortunately the English audio seems to be only 2.0 and the only extra is a trailer. A far cry short of the USA version

The problem I have with Fox in the UK is the region coding AND the price of their discs. They seem to be much more expensive here and because they slap region coding on we can't import them from the US where they're cheaper.

They do produce decent quality blus though

Have a look online some of the UK disks have been region free (only some have as well as some of the US disks granted they are not the titles some people want) but to me fox expermenting with region free is a step in the right direction.

Granted it is anoying some titles we currently don't have but to be fair on FOX UK they did release some titles like independence day and Irobot earlier then in the US. It seems to be a bit hit and miss with each country.

I been picking up fox titles so far from £14.99 most reciently to £17.99 tops from online stores.

The Japanese versions are region-free and have been available since august.

Fox are releasing a number of Pathe titles. These include:
Resident Evil
Silent Hill
House Of Flying Daggers
Rescue Dawn
Outlaw

Maybe more, they're just off the top of my head. I have HOFD pre-ordered, regardless of 18 secs of animal cruelty being censored, it should still be better than the horrific Sony US release.

Fox UK are also printing the wrong running times on the back of ALL the Region B Blu-Ray titles.

Despite this, however - the running time on the disc is correct when compared to the US running time/theatrical release.
