Default Toy Story 3 Premise finally revealed

Quote:
The premise of the third film will show what happens to the toys as their owner Andy leaves for college. Lassester told the Kodak Theatre how his son just left for college and how he didn't expect to have the strong emotions he did, and he thinks the film will hit home for a lot of people.

I have a helluva lot of respect for John Lasseter, but why is it that only his films get sequels? Toy Story 2 was amazing, so I have high expectations for the third installment, but Cars 2 over an Incredibles sequel? That seems like the wrong choice to me...

Sentimental value. I have a box/boxes full of old stuff: toys, art projects, lego stuff that I built (like this one awesome sword), etc.

Well it's news to me... but I did kinda expect this.
I mean, I could see this coming a mile away. MUCh better than Disney's idea of a "summer camp". Glad that got turned down.

If it were me, throw them in a big plastic bag and let my mom keep them till I have kids of my own.
Or throw them out.

Or sell them for cash.
