Check this out. It's funny enough that someone would ask, but his reply makes me respect the man just a little bit more than I used to.

Now this is just awesome!

The man is actually pretty funny. He was at the Hawaii International Film Fest and did a special several hours long Seminar for "Dark City". Of course there had to be some people asking "odd" questions and he always came back with some answer that made you chuckle

My money says he did write it. Roger gets out there and is a very creative writer. Also, Roger's wife is African American which I'm sure some of the holiday get togethers with the in-laws are pretty funny.

Agreed. I've been reading Ebert since the 90's. It's absolutely his style. Just another reason why I continue to read him. His reviews are always insightful & witty, and often leave me with a few chuckles.
