Default First four batman movies put on blu

This is great, so they only release the originals when a sequel comes out?

Does this really mean I have to wait for JP4

A lot of companies will only release the originals of series to promote a new sequel, and yeah, it sucks having to wait.

I'll be getting the Anthology cause I really love the movies. Batman & Robin sucks, but at least I can have something to laugh at and make fun of.

They may release it with some other Spielberg movie at some point, it does not necessarily have to be a sequel, they are looking to promote sales when people are thinking about that movie/star/director and sometime a video game tie in.

There's a good chance these films will release in the U.S. the same day as Dark Knight.

I'm only getting the Burton films.

Thumbs down

After watching TDK I can not go back and watch the old Batmans. They are just to much cheese.

I agree. I can still watch Burton's Batman, but Batman Returns was very goofy. The stupid giant penguins that hang with the Penguin. When they carry him off after he dies...wow, the penguin suits are terrible. The only thing good about Returns was Catwoman. But even then, she comes back to live at a bunch of cats bite her. Hmmmm...my cats bite me all the time, I don't freak out and do what she did.

Plus...the thing that bugged me most about Burton's Batman, Batman kills people. No Way. In Returns he actually straps one of the bad guys explosives to the backguy and he blows up. No way Batman would ever do that.

Slightly off topic, but will we ever see Adam West's Batman on BD ? Or even DVD ?

Already out, my friend. The movie anyway. I'm thinking about picking it up myself. Not sure why. I just can't seem to help myself.

Thats exactly how I feel, and I am not that big of a Tim Burton fan to begin with.

Too much of a cash in to just let somebody have it.

For the first 4 Batman movies coming out on Blu-ray, I'll only be getting Batman and Batman Returns to add right next to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The only good things about Batman Forever were Jim Carrey as The Riddler (a role he was born to play!) and Nicole Kidman. But other than that, I won't get "Forever" on Blu-ray. And Batman & Robin just...plain...sucked!

Enough said.
