Audio issue with Street Kings?

anyone here seen street kings yet? bad static like noise coming from the center channel during dialogue.

dts-hd ma sent pcm from a ps3 to an onkyo 605 w/ 5.1 setup.

i tested other blu-rays i own and others i had rented at the time and have no static. only during the street kings movie.

While I have no idea what might cause the problem, I've got a similar setup and didn't have the same issue. I Netflix'd it though, so I don't have the disc handy to run any tests.

Hi I'm from Malaysia,

My copy which arrived from AMAZON has the same problem with static from the centre channel.

Only this bluray is like this. All other titles are superb.

It must be a authoring issue.

Yeah, I had the same problem with the sound coming from the center channel.

Mine is PS3 to Onkyo 606.

I didn't notice anything like that when I watched it using a PS3 and Onkyo 606. Is there a particular scene or is it throughout the movie? I'll try to check it out again tonight (just listening for that) to see if I notice anything.

Actually, the t-storm moved on so I just tried it. I watched the machine gun scene and the scene with him in the hospital (where the guy is fishing for information) a little past that. Both of those were fine (didn't notice any static in the center channel). I'm using HDMI and a 5.1 setup.

must be specific to certain discs. wonder if Fox knows about it.


i noticed it partway through the movie, i cant remember exactly when it started during the movie.
i just know once i noticed it, it was there for the rest of the flick.
