Anyone else excited for Angels and Demons? Tom Hanks has always impressed me in his selection of movies and I've been a fan of Ron Howard.

I am waiting patiently for this.

I just hope they stay true to the book and don't screw it up like the Davinci Code.

very good book, looking forward to the movie, but usually once you read it, the movie isn't as good due to lack of detail.

I have the book in my library but haven't read it yet. Can someone answer this question: Does the book literally talk about real angels & demons or is it just a symbol of someones imagination?

Edited? Do you mean the use of his "spoiler tags?" If you're indeed talking about the post above you, the poster put those there with the intent of not spoiling the book for the rest of us. You've been a member since 8/07 and haven't seen those???

Because it has directly to do with specific plot points, i.e Spoilers.

If it wasn't shielded, it may ruin the movie to some degree for unsuspecting post readers.

Unfortunately, if you've read one of Dan Brown's books, you've read them all. Aside from minor details, they're all the same.

Im Still waiting for Da Vinci Code on Blu ray, but none the less I really want to read this and then see the movie.

more symbolism

I liked this book far more than Da Vinci Code. Although, I read Da Vinci first and loved that one when I read it. The movie... well Hanks and Amelie just had no chemistry. Though it seems like an easy book to turn into a movie, a lot of it takes place in Hanks' head. I hope A&D turns out better since it's coming from better material.

I thought A&D was better than DaVinci, which has essentially the same type of plot structure. A&D also has the better "thriller" concept.

I always pictured Asia Argento would be great for Vittoria Vetra, but someone else is playing her, I believe.

'Angels & Demons' is a far better book. But, I am afraid that it is almost certain that they will screw it up as a movie. Last I heard, they are trying to reverse the chronological order of the two books now that the second book (DaVinci Code) was made into a movie first. So, they will have 'Angels & Demons' taking place AFTER 'DaVinci Code' within the context of the films.
