Default Iron Man Shatters Blu-ray Sales Records

Quote:
During a phone interview, Iron Man director Jon Favreau told Howard Stern that the Blu-ray version of Iron Man had already broken Blu-ray sales records. This was on the October 2nd Howard Stern Show, which is heard on Sirius XM Radio. You can hear the audio in the video below.

well call me a fool I didn't pre-order my Iron Man and went shopping today for it. After 11 stores and all sold out, I was about to think I would be ironless for the weekend!! But I did find it finally at Target, the only available item was a Target Exclusive "Mark III" mask case 2 disc collectors set (flips open like in the movie to hold the discs). Not exactly what I wanted but, kinda cool after I got it home and checked it out, and only $27.

The point is... just about everyone in Portland is sold out, so thats good news for the Blu-ray front! GO BLU!

The real question is it due to mass sales or low shipments because of the recall. Guess we'll see in a week or so.

The supply in the South Florida area has been ample.

Hopefully, Paramount will have a release with all of the sales numbers. Iron Man sould be the #2 DVD and Blu-ray seller of the year, and Paramount will want to prop their product.
