Default SONY blu-ray player BDP350 or BDP 550?

currently, I have Pioneer 1018 receiver which support HDMI input, so which bly-ray player I should go ahead with? THNKS

Your receiver will decode the HD audio tracks so you really should be good either way

Since The 550, didn't come with the internal memory......you could go either way. I've heard that bitstreaming the audio seems to sound better anyways cause you are relying on the processors in the actual receiver vs. the decoding in the player...which I'm sure aren't as nice as the one in the PIONEER! Then you have to decide if you like the NEC chip (350), or the SIGMA chip (550)?
Then if you want slim profile or sort of back to a thick one.....
