Default How Is L.A. Confidential?

There isn't a review here or in HDD. How's the PQ & SQ?
Doesn't Warner send screeners on time either?

PQ 3.5

Movie is compressed for about an hour. Picks up though. Audio you got Dolby True HD 5.1.

Cause it's compressed pretty heavly for an HD movie for the first hour. Thats a problem how ever with the original source though.

But still it looks way better than any pervious DVD.

I don't mean to be rude, but you're contradicting yourself. If there was a problem with the source regarding softness there is nothing you can do when compressing the movie. So a heavily compressed first hour doesn't make any sense, especially since the movie takes up only about 30+ gigabytes on a BD50.

In any case, it is one of the best movies of the 90s (IMHO) and definitely worth getting.

Yeah i know but i can't help but take into account the problem with the source.
