Default Brothers In Arms : Hells Highway- Is this game worth buying?

Im kinda intrested in this game, anyone try it out yet. Not sure if its worth getting considering all the sweet FPS games coming out fairly soon. Any feedback would be apriciated

Demo is up on PSN now. I downloaded and played it. Didn't care too much for it. I'm bored with WW2 shooters.

If you play COD4 a lot, then I would recommend renting.

I went out and bought it and right from the start I did not like it. Just not as smooth as COD4 and Battlefield. It seems they rushed the game out.

I will sell for $40 shipped!

I enjoy it but I also played the previous two games that were on the PC. It isn't terribly special and is more or less the same as the previous games besides setting, one or two new teams to control, and more graphic now. I will say, the Brothers in Arms games have some of the worst voice acting ever.

I tried the demo and was very unimpressed. The graphics generally were very mediocre and a lot of the game mechanics were silly.

In the first encounter with the Germans, I threw a greanade into a group of 3 and they all went into their alert poses simultaneously. It was like watching synchronized swimming they way they all moved the same in unison. I noticed the same thing when my 2 squad mates were running across the field. They were running exactly in sync and it just looked weird.

In the first field, it was odd to walk up and see a sheep raise it's head and suddenly poke through a wooden cart it was standing next to. I also noticed grass poking through people at times when they moved over high weeds. Most of this stuff is not that hard to avoid but just reflects either a rushed game or one where they didn't care enough to polish it.

In places the graphics did look good but overall not very next gen. In one of the barns they did have a nice effect of the sun coming through windows that I haven't seen much of.

The game play was moderately fun and multiplayer might be better but I wouldn't recommend buying this without at least renting it first.

Got this hated & it at first, could'nt get my head around the controls after playing COD4 so much. The game really grew on me, good storyline some great set pieces. I completed it & then sold it on Ebay because Farcry2 is out at the end of the month. Definately worth a rental or pick it up cheap if you like WW2 shooters.
