NOTE: I will post another thread for other generations if you were wondering why this one is limited to only last generation.

i didn't play a lot of games in the last 10 years, mostly a select few a lot. me & my buddies really liked the multi-player option on a few of these and logged quite a few hours of battles. my personal favs are:

1. Halo
This defined FPS controls for an entire generation of consoles.

2. Forza Motorsport
Even though I love Gran Turismo this changed what a racer could be.

3. Katamari Damacy
How can such a simple game be so addictive?

4. Beyond Good & Evil
Word can't really describe how epic this was.

5. Burnout 3 Takedown
Take the fun fast gameplay of the Burnout series and kick it up to 11.

6. Metal Gear Solid 2
Nuff said.

7. Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time

8. Splinter Cell
Simply awesome.

I only have a top 8.

HALO 2 is without a doubt at the top of my list- I played the living hell out of that game and i was GOD at it. halo 3 sucks and halo 1 is ok.

3: Resident Evil 4 (now with psychos instead of zombies) + Res Evil 0 and Res Evil Remake
2: Final Fantasy 10 & 10-2 (Best RPG series ever made lives on)
1: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater/Subsistence and MGS 2: Sons of Liberty/Substance (So how do they taste?)
