Hi ive been reading posts on this forum for a few days and ive decided to join

Anyways i was wondering if someone could help, ive just ordered Sweeney Todd Steelbook ( i think) its from hmv.co.uk the pic is a steelbook but it dosn't say that it is.

I rang hmv customer service but the were not sure if it was or not. Also in store it is but i bought it online as its 2 for £25 rather than 2 for £30 in store.

Any ideas thanks in advance.

Sweeny Todd Blu-ray SteelBooks have been OOP for a while. What you will get is a regular plastic case.

HMV is great..........I have ordered from them before..........hope you get the steelbook version, but xradman is right....oop!

You could make a small fortune if you bought them all 7 in the store at 2 for 30 Pounds. They routinely sell on eB*y for $60 to $70 each.

Ok sorry for the late reply i recieved the plastic cases so went to hmv and bought the steelbook. So need to send the plastic back. Great film tho really enjoyed it.

Hi,

I just purchased the sweeney todd blu-ray steelbook off ebay at a buy-it-now price. The item decription is BRAND NEW but he never indicate it is sealed.

When I received the item today, I expected it to be sealed, as thats my perception of brand new. Apparantly, it wasn't sealed. So I emailed him to inform him.

He replied that he bought from the UK Manufacturer brand new but it was not sealed initially, and that it is normal for brand new items not to be sealed in UK.

I will just like to verify if this is true in UK???

Anyway the item is in perfect condition, so I do not intend to make a fuss over it.

By the way, the buy-it-now price is GBP29.99 + GBP3.99 (Shipping to Singapore). Did I just get myself a good deal? Many many other ppl are selling it so much more expensive in ebay

I am unsure how true this statement is because I have other UK steelbooks that have been infact sealed. Yet, I do not own the Sweeney Todd steelbook...so can not say for certain!

He may have received it that way, but selling it as brand new when it's not shrinkwrapped is wrong... Good price as long as it's not scratched or dented...
