Default Speaker positioning in WIDE shallow room

The only room in my house where it was really feasible to set up my home theater also happens to be the most poorly shaped room

It's about 30' wide and only about 14' deep. The left third of the room is my home office/PC area and the other 2/3 is my viewing/listening area.

I have a Coaster Promenade sectional on order that will fit the seating area perfectly. Right now I have my front towers positioned where they would, distance wise, be sitting on the outside edges of my sitting area and they are toed in towards my sitting area.

Do you think this is the optimal placement for this shape room? Or would it be better to move the towers closer to the tv and point them straight towards the viewing area? I'd have to actually move several things to even try a different position, so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has experience in a similarly shaped room before I went through all the effort of rearranging.
