I watch the trailers for this movie and it look really entertaining and I like the bit in the trailer were Hilary Duff puts a scorpion down her pants into well you know what anyways is it worth a buy or rent

I am actually watching this film on Blu-Ray right now. It is interesting to see Hilary Duff in such a different way, but her accent is horrible, and overall this movie would not be worth a second watch. I am a big fan of Cusack's and Kingsley, and was lead to believe Kingsley was in this a lot, but he's barely in this more than 5 minutes total. Anyways it'd definitely be a rental before you throw $25 a way, i wouldn't blind buy this thats for sure, as i would not watch this more than once.

Well, she doesn't get nekkid if that's what you were thinking, but she wears some pretty hot outfits and nails the slutty b*itch part down pretty well at the beginning of the movie. I thought it was a pretty good flick.

War Inc. = Grosse Pointe Blank 2.

I loved GPB, so I think this'll be a fun flick. I have it rented but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Never even heard of it, but own the DVD of GPB. Will have to add this to the rental list.

Yep, I try to think of it more as a prequel to GBP and it fits almost perfectly.

Same actors, same basic premise (hired assasin, etc etc) but different "characters". It's basically the same thing, so if you enjoyed GPB I would think you will enjoy this also. I'll report back after I get a chance to watch it.

Hilary's high point is trying to seduce Cusack while singing "I want to blow you, blow you, blow you.......up" and than acting as slutty as possible lol. I usually enjoy John's movies and was hoping it would be the Kingsley I saw from "Kill Me" but that just wasn't the case, I was unimpressed with this film and that was a shame because i waited a long time for this to be released.

I'll buy it for John Cusack's and Dan Aykroyd's performances. Sort of a "Grosse Pointe Blank" reunion right there! I'm still skeptical of Hilary Duff playing a Britney Spears-like character. I hope this doesn't ruin Hilary's reputation in the long run.

As for the movie itself, it was very mediocre, but the PQ and the SQ were decent. For the disc itself it was pretty good.

Its a very enjoyable movie, its a shame the critics ripped it as they seemed on a anti-anti-administration(politics) movie kick.. im glad i didnt pay attention to them and glance over the film (couldnt resist Cusack and of course Duff)

as for purchasing it.. i dont know if i could see myself watching this more than a few times over a long period (but than again that can be said with half my collection) so... maybe ill pick it up lol

I agree that this could be GPB 2, but I disagree with the poster that said different characters. Cusack (both of them) played exactly the same characters as GPB, though the names were different. John played an assassin who is morally bankrupt while Joan tried to get him to get his shit together the entire film.

The action scenes made the movie for me - Cusack plays understated, efficient violence better than anyone.

What I hated were the "silly" unnecessary scenes (watch the movie, and when you roll your eyes, you'll know what I mean).

I could also have done without the "Dr. Stangelove"-style ending...
