PSP problem - can't exit games - Blu-ray Forum

I've searched everywhere, called Sony and they are sending a box for me to ship it back for service (thankfully I have a month left on the warranty)....

But has this happened to anyone?

Any time I am playing a game, if I hit the Home button - once the screen pops up asking if you want to quit the game, the only button that works is O - letting me get back to the game.

I've reset default settings, nothing. followed Sony's advice and removed the battery for 10 minutes and then reset default settings, nothing...

It's on firmware 5.0 now, (PlayStation store on this is great!) - never been hacked, rarely played, and all the buttons work everywhere else...

I'm sending it in as I mentioned - just wondering if anyone had this happen and a fix to try while I wait for the shipping box from Sony.

Mine hasn't had that issue, and I just now rechecked it with FW 5.0. No problems. That is a weird one.

Never heard of anything like that, just people getting confused when X and O are swapped for some Japanese games/demos. Usually the HOME button screen follows the rules of your region but some games override that?

It's weird - its all US demos, or even stuff I've bought like Castlevania or the Madden 08 UMD.

Just thought I'd check before I send it in.
