is the playstation network down?

about 15hrs ago when i was using my ps3 it kept disconnecting me from the PSN regardless of what countries i was going to, but after a few mins it was working again and the "playstation store" splash screen was added

and now when im on the ps3 again it hasnt connected to the PSN for the last hour+

:/ wanted some demos
