PS3 HDMI Popping issue? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm sorry, I know this has been posted a million times, but what can you guys tell me about the picture making popping noises? I've kinda gathered that it's called a "Handshake" issue between my HDMI cord, my PS3 and my HDTV. Is that right?

yes...and its doing it even more since the last patch....I don't understand..

I was starting to attribute it to my crappy $30 HDMI cable. It used to stop after a minute or so but now it gets to bad during certain Blu-Ray titles (The Matrix, Hellboy, Indiana Jones) that I have to stop playback and go back into the movie.

REALLLLLY annoying.
