You guys helped me with the 7.1 audio question, what do you think about this?
Very curious about the picture diffrence, any thoughts on 24P? And any flicks that display it? Thanks in advance! |

Follow up with a stupid question then, will it default to 24p?

I'd say it's over 95% of Blu-rays that are 24p -- it's the handful of concerts and things like that that won't be. It's safe to assume any actual movie will be 24p.
Your player and display device needs to support 24p. If the player supports it there will be some option in the player setup somewhere (it's not an option in the movie menus or anything). On the display you shouldn't have to do anything though, aside from turning off that nasty "motion plus" stuff (if your display has it) that makes everything look like video! Then if the player outputs it correctly and your display accepts 24p, you'll see the movie like it was supposed to be. |
