Yamaha DSP Modes

Before i bought my yamaha 3800 i read a lot of reviews on the reciever and the 1800.
Almost every review pointed out how the DSP modes were worthless or they were a feature that no one needs.
Now i would like to think iam not the only one that uses DSP modes at times:Let me give you some examples

I use Hall in Vienna For Concerts Like
-Queen Rock Montreal
-Nine Inch Nails-Beside you and me
-David Gilmour Royal Albert Hall

Mono Movie,I find this is a great mode For movies like
-Rambo,First Blood
-Nightmare on Elm Street
-Goodfellas

Once in a well I'll even use Spectacle ,To me it opens the sound field stage a bit more for action movies.

The mode i use alot is the standard mode and for Cd's i find PLX Music is the best

Now i also know that no ones the same and people like what they like or dislike.

Iam interested to know if you don't like useing the DSP modes then Why?
And if you do like some of the Modes iam interested in what modes you Like and how or what you use them for

I find it hard to think iam the only one that takes advantage of some of the modes
