Default ps3 internet capabilities

can the ps3 play tv shows from websites such as abc.com? I tried but it wasn't working. if its not possible is there a way to download the webpage and video to my computer and get it to my tv through the ps3? I don't know jack about computers so I have no idea what these things would take to do if they're possible.

Do you have a keyboard and mouse hooked up?

Are you connected to the internet on your PS3?

In my short experiences on YOUTUBE, it can play clips, but won't work when I want it in fullscreen.

You can use a Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse. You can get them from Best Buy, Fry's Electronics, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

As far as what he wants you to do with them, I don't know.

As long as they're flash based and don't required the latest version of flash to be installed to play then they'll you should be able to view them.

ATM I would recommend a USB keyboard and mouse over a bluetooth set simply because the latter doesn't work in Linux. If the original poster plans to use the factory PS3 web browser he should certainly look into running Linux as well.
