"Superman Returns" TrueHD Blu-ray Question

I plan on picking up SUPERMAN RETURNS but I want to make sure it's the TrueHD one. I plan to buy it through moviemars on Amazon (thank you, gift certificate):

I ordered it from warner bros store.. I got the right copy. I would suggest getting it from them. Here is a link for the bluray.

That does appear to be the Superman Returns Blu-ray with PCM/Dolby TrueHD audio on Amazon.

There has not been one report of this BD showing up at brick and mortar stores yet. Stores first have to burn through the older lossy copies first before they order the new version. I would order from an online retailer that definitely lists it like CDUniverse.

Order it from the WB store

I worked very hard to get them to list it as a separate item. There is no better way to send the message "WB, Lossless is important" than to specifically purchase it from their store in a method they can track easily.

Plus with their coupons you should be able to equal an amazon price

Normal stores such as best buy, wal mart etc.... have the HD Audio correct.

I haven't seen it at any B&M stores. The WB store seems to be one of the more reliable sources.

I have a GC for moviemars that would make this release cost next to nothing and would prefer to do it through Amazon.

I checked 3 stores tonight (HMV, Wal-Mart, Best Buy) and all copies were DD5.1.

Reports have been filtering in from across the country on other forums...copies of the lossless version of Superman Returns with PCM and Dolby TrueHD are showing up at Best Buy stores. You still have to look carefully on the packaging because stores also have older copies mixed in their stock but it appears this BD is getting easier to find in stores now. The lossless sound is a huge upgrade over the 640 kbps Dolby Digital track on the original release.
