Restored Version of Sholay

I doubt this will happen, but it would be nice to see this movie given a full restoration (video and audio) for a blu-ray release.

Sholay is a hindi movie from 1975, considered by many to be the most important film in bollywood. It is one of my personal favourites. I do own DVD copy of it, but it just another dupe of dupe that came from an endless line of other dupes. Any restoration or proper high-def treatment is hindered in India, due to the fact that people have just started to use DVD players in the last few years. There is still a big chunk of the market that goes toward VCDs . Nevertheless it remains at the top of my wishlist and I would gladly pay over $40 for a proper restored blu-ray.
