Received an invitation to the BBRZ event taking place this upcoming Sunday. It is sponsored by Samssung and I am looking to buy a standalone Blu Ray player to take some of the heat off my PS3.

Might they have sales on Samsung items like their Blu Players? I'm interested in the Samsung BD-P2500.

never been to one of these things so I don't know if i should wait to buy this player (or another) on Sunday night? or just buy it when I get off work today.
