Just curious do you buy new, use blu-ray or rent them? or borrow or trade from someone?

Mostly I buy new but I do trade with some members on here.I also rent from Blockbuster.

Used > New > Rent, for me.

There are exceptions (badly damaged cases/art work), but they are rare.

I generally buy new, but am not opposed to buying used if I see something I want at a good price (and condition). Problem is that most of the used cd/dvd shops don't have a very great selection of blu-ray's yet.

I buy new (Amazon, Best Buy and occasionally Wal-Mart) and used (from users on this site). I don't rent because i like to own movies!

new releases, if i know it's a movie i'll enjoy, i'll buy brand new. older movies on my want list, i'll pick up used on ebay or look for a trade on here.

how about a mix and match. I buy new on sale, I trade here in the forums and I get used ones from my local pawn shop/used entertainment store. Wherever the deals are at.

I buy new but I'm constantly on any site that sells them to catch a great price. I don't buy brand new day of unless it's something I thoroughly enjoyed like Iron Man, Hulk, etc.

Don't mind used if I can see it for my self like at FYE, otherwise it's a crap shoot.

I rent only if I'm unsure if I'll enjoy the movie since I hate to blind buy.

All of you who buy new at Best Buy and Amazon waste your money. I've got 204 Blus and I've bought maybe the new purchase price a couple of times. I've gotten so many deals on used Blus and Blus brand new for that matter that I've gotten for dirt cheap.

I got Get Smart for 15.99

I got The Incredible Hulk for 15.99

I got The Proposition for 4.99

I got The Rookie brand new for 14.99

I could go on and on. Paying list price or Amazon's or even Best Buy's price for a Blu doesn't make sense when you can get them for cheaper. Especially as soon as you open them, they are used.

My suggestion to all of you. CD Wharehouse. You'll love their prices, and they have brand new stuff.

New because I can't stand dirty or damaged discs. Plus it is hard to find decently priced used Blu-rays.

I mainly buy new; usually release day. However, I will buy the occasional used disc if the price is right. I haven't rented in years.

I'm new for Blu too. Wish I had more friends who owned a Blu-ray player tho'. I wouldn't mind borrowing some titles I don't plan to buy but still want to see in hi def.
