Default Opinions on Samsung LN37A550

I am currently looking at the Samsung LN37A550 on Amazon.com for $859.99 with no tax and no shipping. Do you think this is a good set? I was looking at the LN40A550 for $995.99 on Amazon.com as well. The difference between the sets is the contrast ration on the 37 inch is 15,000 to 1 and the 40 inch is 30,000 to 1

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN37A5...6199078&sr=1-1

Is the difference between the two sets worth the $150

For $150, I think it is worth it to get the extra 3 inches. I have a an older 37 inch Samsung model, and I always wonder what a bigger screen would be like. I guess that is especially true with smaller screen sizes and when the extra cost is within your budget.

Also, since both models are 1080p, the 1080p will be more effective on the bigger screen.

I say go for it.

Edit: Just checked Amazon. the LN40A550 is now $950, just $70 more than LN37A550. The decision just got easier.
