Default Screen flickers 1-2 minutes when PS3 first loads movies, Help!
Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but I have an orginial 60gb PS3 that has started to give me some problems a few months back when I first play a movie. It does not happen all of the time or even with specific movies but occasionally the screen will flicker during the beginning of the movie (never beyond movie credits) and then it is fine. It never happened until recently, and never happens when playing a game. I wondered if this was a sign of the blu-ray drive going bad.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?
