Help Needed Please - Blu-ray Forum

The question is i have the (Technics SCDV290) 5.1 surround sound system. Will these Speakers work on (Onkyo TX-SR606) or will (Technics SCDV290) work fine with the PS3 anyway. Thanks for any help guys.

As long as they use standard speak wire (and I have no reason to believe they don't), you should be able to use them just fine with the Onkyo receiver.

I'm not clear on what you're asking when you say "Or Will The (Technics SCDV290) Work Fine With The PS3 Anyway"? Speakers need to be plugged into a receiver or amplifier in order to work, you can't just plug them into a PS3 system directly because it does not have speaker terminals. You need to run audio cables, or better yet an HDMI cable from your PS3 to a receiver for sound. Is that what you wanted to know?

they have to be 8 ohm i believe to work with the 606
