Best Buy return policy?

I can't remember what Best Buy's return policy is when you DON"T have a receipt. I think I remember you can only do it once a year without a receipt? Also, on that one time can you do multiple items or just one item one time? Thanks, I have a few sealed movies I'd like to exchange out for some Blu-rays.

Last I knew you had to have a receipt, but depending on who you talk to you may get away with store credit. Store policy was no receipt, no return, though. Did you buy the items there?

no receipt, no return. they have the ability to look up ALL of the things you've purchased and print a duplicate receipt based on any of: phone number, name, or credit card used. they have purchases dating back to 2000 and perhaps before.

so tell them your phone number, your name, or show them your card, they'll look it up and reprint the receipt and do it that way.

if you get lucky (very lucky) you'll find someone who will do it for you without any receipt at all. but that's not standard.

I have a reward zone card, they can look it up that way as well

My Bro is a sales manager at a Best Buy. When he gets bored, or needs a gift idea, he looks up what I have bought in the past several years.

Yeah, Best Buy doesn't return without a receipt and like others said they can now look up any purchase by name, number etc. If your trying to just get store credit for some movies that you have, the best place I know of is walmart. They do store credit for anything as long as its sealed with or without the receipt. Good Luck.
