Since Best Buy will be the only retail store for electronics for some of us, I was just wondering of well they were doing with customers. I use to work for them and I had some haters that said they only go to circuit city for their electronic needs.

I go there, been known to drop a few grand every 2 years or so.

Wish they would stock the higher end VAIOs though.
I can order things from here, no need to go there to order the same item and still have to wait.

I shop there a lot...... but rarely buy.... almost always purchases are made online......

I had been looking for Baraka at my local Best Buys, and even in a BB when I was out of town..... Finally found it today, and it's $30 now... HA... no thanks.... I got to check out the packaging, read the back, and now I'll find it online (or in our trade forum) and purchase it.

I love looking at best-buy.... but I remember liking to check out the speakers and audio gear, but now they don't sell anything I'd be interested in buying anyways.... I can't even find a freakin' center-channel stand there to temporarily replace my missing one

Of course now I spend more time looking at the Refridgerators than the other stuff..... sucks being old

They are OK. Some good sales now and then. They always treat me like a king at my Best Buy, they are consistently nice and helpful.

I agree with another post.

I love going there to look around and see what's out. But I only buy if I have a gift card or something is priced well enough. However, like I said, I could walk around for hours just looking at everything. For some reason I just enjoy it.

Best Buy used to be great. I shopped there way back in the mid-'80s. Nowadays, they are just "OK".

I chose "lover". They're the best as far a B&M stores are concerned.

I'm neither a Hater or a Lover. I will say that since they revamped a lot of their stores here in the Toronto area, it is a much nicer experience to browse. I don't find their deals all that great, but then, I'm a pretty savvy shopper.

I wish they'd offer some more upscale brands, or at least different brands from time to time. It's always the same just newer models.

I actually like them a lot more now than a few years ago. In years past I felt like I couldn't simply browse without getting the "full court press" of extended warranty pushes, video game strategy guide upsells, and my least favorite, the magazine subscription hustle.

At least now I feel like I can browse their extensive (best B&M around me by far) Blu-Ray selection, find something I like, and check out hassle free. The Reward Zone program is cool (I have the RZ Mastercard, so I get points for practically everything I purchase anywhere), and while I still find their prices fairly high, they are a B&M store, so I expect to pay more than an Amazon.

I like them ALOT more now than I used to. Here lately the one by me has excellent customer service and they are very friendly and helpful. I have gotten some good deals there recently. I still go to wherever is cheapest but I do like Best Buy.

i used to be a bb lover, got both my HD tv's there right before x-mas so, i got a pretty good price. now, not so much, i generally will only shop there if its absolutely something i can't wait for to get to my house and to play w/ the demo models.

Completely despise BB. If their building was burnt down in town i'd be sitting outside with a lawnchair and a martini laughing histerically.
