Default Sony vw60 or infocus in83

Hi people good site by the way.

I have a infocus in78 which is great but im thinking of upgrading to a 1080p pj.

Ive read lots of good reveiws about the sony vw60 and in83 but has anyone here had any experience with them, I need to make up my mind as im going to order in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks

Check out the Sony HW10, their newest projector. Review here.

Thanks for that.
The reveiw was great have you seen it in action, if so would you recommend it above the vw60.

Cheers

I have not seen the hw10 in action. I would say that the IN83 is sharper than the vw60 and brighter, but doesn't have the same black level performance. Therefore, for me it would be between the IN83 and the HW10 or better yet, the JVC RS1u. The question you have to ask is, is the IN83 or RS1u that much better than the HW10 to justify the additional $1500?

Actually, you can get the RS1u/HD1 for $3720 online or the RS2u/HD100 for $6000. I would highly recommend these projectors, the RS1u is older and some projectors have started to catch up, but black level performance in this line of projectors is still the best. Much like tv's, Pioneer Kuro's are the gold standard, so too are JVC D-ILA front projectors.
