There Now Appears To Be No More Shortages Of Ps3 Machines In The USA - Blu-ray Forum

I am seeing evidence that there are now plenty of Sony Playstation 3 machines for anyone that wants one. I know of this one distributor that sales many Sony products and they have not received one Sony Playstation 3 since the November 17th 2006 launch until today. This one distributor has been trying to get machines since November 17th. Finally today March 27th they received their first shipment of PS3 machines. They now have a total of 3,130 60GB Sony PS3 machines in stock. The funny thing is they are selling the machines to dealers for $605.34. So each reseller will lose money on each PS3 unless they bundle it with some games.
