Who should be then next Batman Villain - Blu-ray Forum

If Chris Nolan decides to come back for a third Batman who do you think should be the villain? We all know who it will most likely be, but let's see what the people on this site would like to see be the villain. It would also be nice to know who you think should play the character. I only listed the Villains that have some kind of shot of being in the next movie. Since their was 2 Villains in The Dark Knight, go ahead and vote for as many as you want.

I really, really want to see Nolan's take on The Penguin.

Hopefully as portrayed by Timothy Spall or Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I don't know who they should use. I think Depp as the Riddler would be awesome. Honestly, I would love to see Bane be used right. I really liked his character in the comics.

Personally, and I know Nolan doesn't want to do it, but the way TDK ended, to me, sets up real nice for a visit from Superman. So that he could corall this vigilante DA murdering Batman. Who better to set him straight than Superman. This is kind of how they had it in the Batman vs. Superman Cartoon wb made several years back. Superman thought he was a badguy or too violent anyway.

I would love to see it. I think Nolan would actually be the perfect person to do it. You have this Superman in the realistic life of Batman.

I agree with you that Depp would make a good Riddler, but I disagree about the Superman Thing. Superman is in a diffrent ''World'' then Batman. Their crossover wouldn't work like the Marvel ones will.

I hear he isn't doing Penguin/Riddler anymore.
I got an adio file mailed to me, from a podcast or some internet radio show a friend of mine listens to, in Australia. It's called words and picture shows.
Apparently, Christopher Nolan has had a lot of different ideas about the third movie and has been planning one for just as long as the second.
From what I heard, the insider rumors are Bane, Hush, Azrael (maybe), Catwoman (Maybe) and Harvey Bullock from the original cartoon (far-far maybe)

They're enough of the same world that they'd referenced Metropolis in Batman Begins.
They're different cities. Not worlds.

Your right, but in Nolans Batmans movies no one has Superpowers. I don't think that Superman would fit into Batman Begins and The Dark Knights plot line and story. I just don't think it would fit.

Harley Quinn Would be the best villain for Batman to take on. It would fit with the Joker being "gone", plus she is psychotic if not more so than the joker. Could be like a revenge thing. If not her then I would say the Riddler would be the next best villain to use. Catwoman, Penguin and Mr Freeze don't need to be in the world of Nolan.

Can you really see Heath Ledgers Joker having a girlfreind? Seriously. She seems like the type that would be as annoying as hell, I think he'd just shoot her.

I've never cared for any of the Batman's regular villians (with the exception of Ledger's Joker)

I have enjoyed Bane and Killer Croc in the comics, but they probably won't do them.

Yea and they should cast Fran Dresher as her lol, then youd have a reason to be really annoyed.

Bane would be cool ( I don't know you should play him, I think the Gerald Butler could work or Vinnie Jones). I feel Riddler just too similar to the Joker as a character. Penquin is too weird for Nolan's universe. I don't want Catwoman, at least not yet.

Some other villians I would like to see is: Killer Croc (could be a someone with a horrible skin condition) or the Mad Hater (who Jack Black would be perfect for)

The Riddler would be cool if taken directly out of the graphic novels. Though Nolan seems to like villains that have yet to be used. In which case I'd vote for Black Mask. Oh ya and I think Catwoman should be in the next one however she wouldn't be a true villian and if not Catwoman then maybe Talia al Ghul.
