I am soon going to get my bonus at work and would like to replace my existing speakers... I was hoping that those with much more knowledge than I about audio could help me pick out a great system..
I would like to keep the cost at no more than $300-400 per speaker max so perhaps $2000-3000 budget. I have some ok speakers at moment so was wondering if I could keep my existing speakers for the surround sound and just replace the fronts/center/sub for now until my wallet recovers to replace the surrounds. I am also worried that my receiver may not be good enough (Denon AVR1909) but I really don't know what will work with my receiver or if I should also be replacing it? I have been looking at Klipsch and Polk Audio speakers but soon get confused on what my receiver can handle and what would work good together. Thanks |
