Repo! The Genetic Opera - Jan 20th - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys,

I attended the Atlanta showing of Repo! last night, and was there for the Q&A with the writer and director. They let slip some details about the films release on DVD and Blu. It'll come out on the 20th, and they mentioned a few details which I'll try to recall:

"Over the top" deleted scenes
A missing song
Director's commentary with Paris Hilton and Ogre
"Other goodies"

The only other thing he mentioned was that it would not feature the 10 minute short that sold the studio on the film due to some payment issues, but that it may be "leaked" on YouTube in the coming weeks.

Great film, look forward to picking it up.

Been wanting to see this since I heard about it about 2 years ago, but with the limited theatrical run, I never got to. I'll be picking this up for sure.

It is a great experience seeing it in a crowd with a bunch of people into it, but I am not sure how it will go over to people sitting at home watching it alone on tv.
If it plays anywhere in your area I strongly suggest making a road trip to see it to get the full experience.
Will buy day 1 anyway.

Hell yes!!!!!

I've seen this 4 times already and although we knew it was coming to DVD on that date already, we weren't sure if Lionsgate would jump on to Blu or not.

This movie is amazing, instant cult classic!

I can't wait (If you couldn't tell from my board name). I've been hearing about this movie forever and since it hasn't come to Arizona yet I'll have to wait until it comes out on Blu. I was really hoping the 10 minute short would be on the release, but at least it will be shown somewhere eventually.
