New York Yankees and Cisco to deliver cutting-edge technology in New Yankee Stadium. That's awesome news. Here is where the news was taken from.

im all for technology, but no thanks on going to a ball game to tool around on a machine to look up traffic and weather.

theres a scoreboard in the outfield if you wanna see scores to other games.

It's not like the place will be filled up with real Yankee fans anyways, a good 40% of them got priced right out of the park. They went completely corporate, and technology like that is sadly a wanted thing from most of the pink hats that will be attending the new park.

same thing happens with all new stadiums.

i remember when i was young, we used to go down to the old busch stadium 15-20x a year. real cheap. i think it was $8 for my parents and $4 for my brother and me.

they build the new stadium and i can only afford to go a couple of times a year.

yup - Vet Stadium was like that too - held 70k people and the non-reserved upper level outfield seats were $7-8 a game. You could go to any game you wanted and not worry about not getting a seat. Lower level 3rd base side were like $22 each.

Now in Philly, the cheapest seats are $27 and the best ones you can buy without a season ticket plan are over $60.

But all this crap they put in the seats limits the leg-room and foot room. Not to mention, how many do you think will be ripped off by some two-bit hood rat that got to go to a game in the new stadium?

Wait till the Giants and worse Jets fans get everything straightened out for next season. Hell they took long time season ticket holders and moved them into the upper bowl of the new stadium and took their lower level premium seats and auctioned them off to the highest bidder on a stub hub type service. Talk about taking a dump on several long time fans!

the new nats park is an amazing stadium

but i allways felt there should be some kind of headsets in the seats or something to listen to the radio feed of the game, makes the game more exciting
