"Digital Copy" questions

Does anybody know the info on the "Digital Copy" of films included with bluray titles???

1. What format is the digital copy in?
2. What's the vid/aud quality (res) of the digital copy?

1) You have a choice of WMV (Windows Media Video played with Windows Media Player 10, 11, etc.) or an iTunes/Quicktime playable .m4v (which is a .mp4 container format by apple).

2) For the .m4v for iTunes for The Incredible Hulk digital copy for example, it is 853x362 pixels H.264 AVC which looks pretty amazing on desktop as it is encoded at 1.5mbits/sec. It is meant for your iPod Touch rather than maximizing it on your laptop of course since it is not even a 720p type source. What I like about this format is that it even shows chapters of the movie that you can choose from.

Maybe so. But the Ipad screen is only 2.5 inches big. What do you expect? I like Digitized Copies to play on my Ipad when I travel. Yes, the screen is small ad we do not get 7.1 surround sound. But it is better that looking at the old fart next to you (no, not your wife). I'm referring to fat total strangers on the plane who do nothing but yap, yap yap and complain.

It turns out to be a DVD of some kind. I have one in my Ultimate Matrix Collection but I don't plan to use it.
